Liverpool
Though Manchester City (Man City) won the EPL trophy in the 2018/19 season, Liverpool was a great challenge. In the current season, 2019/20, the unbeaten Liverpool is leading the title race with Man City remaining to be their main challenger. Liverpool may have only won a single trophy during the season. Still, the season was one of their most prestigious in the club’s history. Based on the ongoing trend, Liverpool is the team to watch as it has all it takes to win the title this season.
Manchester City
The 2018/19 winners of the EPL trophy, Manchester City, may not yet win the 2019/20 EPL race. However, within the UEFA Champions League, they have one of the best squads in the world to carry the day. The loss of Aymeric Laporte will only have a small impact upon them when playing big challengers like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.
Barcelona
Barcelona were the 2018/19 winners of the La Liga league with 87 points ahead of Atletico Madrid with 76 points, Barcelona is now the second in the table for the 2019/20 season behind Real Madrid. Although they won the last season’s La Liga, things are not easy this season. However, anything can happen before the league ends towards the end of May 2020.
